9. That Italian guy, and that older woman who has the ugly kitchen
and a bunch of herbs outside her kitchen door and never really cooks anything of interest and seems more of a "Ladies Home Journal" style of cooking for women who liked to fantasize about Chris Reeves but preferred to cook by opening cans. Can't stand either one of them. I'd have to cancel the old lady first, though.

The one I'm thinking of is an older woman - like grandmother age - in a "country"-decor kitchen with fancy peasant-french-style woodwork on the cabinets (If memory serves), and she has the herb garden outside the kitchen door.

15. "Crossfire"
This is an absolutely worthless show. Inside the Beltway gasbags (be they liberal or conservative) screaming at each other. There is no...zero, zip, zilch...redeeming value to this show whatsoever. It's a waste of television air time. Pointless and irredeemably stupid. Can actually lower your IQ if watched on a regular basis.

I'd cancel this idiotic piece of shit in a second. Fire everyone involved...right on the air.

22. all these plastic surgery shows.
Hey, how about a college scholarship show? or 'win a math tutor for your kids' show or 'win 100 visits to a shrink' (actually, that wouldn't be a bad one!) I'm old enough to remember 'queen for a day' however, I could only imagine if Bravo brought that one back (joke!)

No, instead: physical beauty, wealth, appearance are the only real values, and all you need is money or luck and you'll be a better person.

For the wrong reasons, I *like* American Idol (sans Simon) because it shows the chances of truly talented people to get ahead ie: if you can't make it to the Superbowl (final two) you'll never be heard of again...

Bring back Ted Mack!

PS: I wonder, in this world of Rush Limbaugh's pursuit of excellence and rewarding the 'winners', why are football players paid ANYTHING if they lose a game???

73. Can I just cancel the whole Fox channel?
Edited on Fri Jan-07-05 12:18 PM by ALiberalSailor
...and replace it with 12 hours of "Air America Television" followed by 12 hours of live feeds from Selma Hayek's house? That seems pretty cool to me.

Sheesh.

88. CSI: New York.
