My right ear is driving me crazy
Any ideas from The Lounge?

Had a cold for a week and that cleared up. Then had strange sounds in my right ear for two weeks, and that cleared up. Today, my right ear started this low frequency hum. It's driving me nuts!

1. get that ear wax softener from the drug store.
then get one of those bulbs you fill with water and hose your ear out. sounds like you have too much wax in there. DO NOT use qtips you'll just pack it in.

2. Already tried that.
No luck. I think this is some inner-ear problem.

10. Stick the finger in his ear, first, then hit
it with a hammer. Clear that stuff right out. :)

7. Could be that you are stopped up all the way back to your ear
That happened to me a while back and I actually woke up one morning dizzy because it affected my equilibrium. Non-prescription Tavist D should do the trick.

But one time I had a rushing sound in my ear and it was high blood pressure.

U should get that checked out.

8. had similar problem a few years ago
one big headcold that seemed to linger forever -- when it went away my ears remained blocked

got some meds from the DR. -- didn't do any good -- cure worse than the problem -- meds made my sinus feel like they were collapsing in on themselves... Weirdest feeling I ever had -- I stopped taking the meds

It finally cleared up on it's own after a couple months

9. Ir is a possibility that you have developed Tinnitus.
I have had it for years. I have constant buzzing, humming and clicking sounds in my ears.

11. I caught some kind of crappy sickness
which I'm still dealing with, just before leaving California a few days ago. The plane ride was HELL. My ears were alright when we were gaining altitude, but, for some reason, when we started descending my sinuses wouldn't take in more air to equalize with the increased pressure. Felt like my head was going to implode. Very painful.
