4. Do you want to know?
* many source pictures
* hand-cleaning the rubbish off of the white background pics
* manually optimizing each picwith a 16 color palette
* pull out some hair in angst
* using decent gif editor to insert the images and create a global 32-color palette (look careful and you can see a lack of gradient/shadow detail in 3 of the pics)
* drink a bottle of hard liquor to celebrate
