This is on my shoulder
Why do cats think shoulders are a perch?

1. Thank gods! I thought I was the only one!
I was too ashamed to talk about it in public, but, my name is Burt and I have a cat who loves to ride on my shoulder. :hi:

2. Just act like you really want the cat to perch there and...
...voila! They will no longer have any desire to sit on your shoulders.

3. I had a cat who liked to sit on the tops of open doors
Edited on Tue Dec-14-04 03:17 PM by Left Is Write
...and when people walked by, he'd smack them on the top of the head.

8. what a cutie!! And just the right size to sit on your shoulder& supervise
They all love to supervise. It is a cat thing

our Siamese blend used to ride around our daughter's neck somewhat like a fur stole.

One of these days I will run across the good photo of this and post it.

10. My Siamese is famous for that
He's on my shoulder for a good hour every night after I come home from work (if it's too cold to go out). And in the morning when I brush my teeth he's always there to peer into the mirror.

How old is your cute little one?
