Man Charged With Stealing Coke Vending Machine From His Work

SOUTH GLENS FALLS -- A 30-year-old man was charged with stealing a Coca Cola vending machine from his place of employment and taking it home, Saratoga County sheriff's investigators said Thursday.

Brian Mundell allegedly removed the soda machine from the Monroe Muffler shop at the Wilton Mall on Route 50 in Wilton on Oct. 29, Investigator David Towne said, then took it to his home at 23 Lamplighter Trailer Park. The vending machine was recovered, Towne said.

Mundell was issued an appearance ticket for fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, Towne said. Mundell will appear in Wilton Town Court at a later date to answer the charge. If convicted, he faces a maximum prison sentence of four years.
