I used to think Pee Wee's Big Adventure. But Big Fish is a truly magical film.

3. I voted for Edward but wanted to make special mention of Sleepy
In Sleepyhollow Burton got Science confronting the mystic exactly right. There is a big debate that science cannot explore the mystic. This is entirely wrong. Science is merely a process. And in Sleepyhollow Burton showed what a real scientist would do when confronted by the realm of the mystic. You explore the rules and laws governing it.
