LA Magnet School Principal can't write
It seems the principal who complained about the school system's ban of junk food isn't much for grammar. His widely quoted, "healthy food snacks just are not real appetizing to the kids" was just the tip of the iceberg.

Check his message from the school's website:

Welcome to our web site! Sherman Oaks CES is a great school. When you combine super students, engaging teachers, involved parents, and a staff that strives for the best, you have the formula for a great school. We are a span school with students in grades 4 through 12. There are approximately 200 students in each grade. Our entire school is a magnet school, with a selection process run through LAUSDs Choices program. Being a high performing school with a family atmosphere, safe environment, nationally recognized extra-curricular activities, and a high degree of success in post-graduate programs by our students, has proven to be a winning combination. We welcome you to our site and want you to realize that the integration of technology into our curriculum is very important. We realize that for our students to be successful in the twenty-first century, a challenging curriculum with use of technology is essential. Our graduates need to not just know about technology, but have a wide array of practical experiences to prepare them for success in the ever-expanding technological world. Check back often to see our expanding web site and life at a great school. / (see a message from Robert S...)

Meaningless fluff about technology and how the school is great because it combines a combination great things. If this is the best LAUSD can do, we are in trouble.

1. I believe the magnet schools in LA are run by a private company, and
not the city or county. So, when you wanna talk vouchers.....
