Who else is ready for Christmas?
I am so ready for Christmas. Who else is? I can't wait. I love the Holidays. I decked out the halls at home about a week ago and I decked out work today.

You can see my office work space Christmased-Up if you want at www.thesouthernlad.blogspot.com

However, I just mainly want to know what are you doing to get in the Christmas mood?

9. I'm not religious and it's also a cultural thing
I like it MUCH better in Puerto Rico, where I'm from. I guess it's one of those things that you prefer the way it was when you were little.

4. I haven't decorated yet
which is funny I usually do it early. Since this is my first year in the new condo I bought a bigger artificial tree and a few more ornaments. I'll probably put it up this weekend. I've been enjoying being outside too much to really get down to Christmas yet but my Mom wants to bake cookies this weekend so I guess I'll have to get ready.

6. Scents
Cookies, vanilla, pine, fresh cut Christmas tree, hazelnut, spices

Good smells make me want to dance around.

And candles and white lights. Lots of greenery.

10. I'm ready in a different way
I'm over 60% done with my Xmas shopping according to my spreadsheet. I completed half of it on Halloween after my candy ran out - got on Ebay and won several auctions. :)

I drive my siblings crazy with weekly updates on how close I am to being done.

One trip out to the mall/toy stores next weekend should finish me up for the most part. The rest of the time is spent listening to Xmas music and baking cookies.

12. My favorite time of the year.
Count me in. I love it and am proud of it. The one time of the year when it is OK to still be a kid.
