This is me this past summer - ask me anything

I'm the one with very little hair, glasses & a hand gesture that would choke certain US voters.

11. Mnemic - a Danish heavy metal group
the Roskilde Festival has an old tradition of letting an up & coming group open the Orange Stage. This year was the first time (that I can remember) that a heavy metal group got the job.

I thought it was a cool show, especially because they had fireworks & all.

13. I'm glad you enjoyed it
but I was afraid I wouldn't know who you saw. I'm just out of the loop music wise. My daughter plays that stuff in my car.. on my radio.. and I just about go NUTS.....sorry.....almost lost it right there. I try to be a good mom and give her a bite of space. BUT THE SPACE AT THAT TIME IS TO SMALL:crazy: Give me anything per 80's:hippie:

14. Haha..
.. I can only agree. I'm not really into heavy metal music either, I just thought that for once I would get all the way upfront. The last time I ever got that close to the stage was with Metallica in 1999 - and I didn't last long then.

I too have a preference for anything 60's-80's - I'm in love with my recording of John Fogerty from Roskilde Festival in 1997. He played one hell of a version of Fortunate Son.

17. Some music is just made to dance to
I'm not really into World Music, but sometiems the music just makes it impossible to stand still. Perfect example would be Calexico - I don't think I've jumped so much around at a world music concert.

3. Warm..
.. despite a downpour of rain during the hour I waited up front, people were squished together, so I came out from the concert completely dry.

I don't really remember much from the gig, apart from staring into the vests of the security personnel.

Nice pic. So true. Maybe we can get some hobbits to rescue this country from the flamer in the Whitehouse.

9. Not really..
.. it used to be much much worse in the previous millenium. The death of 9 young men at a Pearl Jam gig stopped that very quickly.
