I took my Mom this afternoon for her 61st birthday to see them live. I was a bit worried that the harder rock part and the lasers may just give my Mom a migraine and forever emblazon me as the weird flaky daughter in her mind...

But she loved it!

I highly reccomend the show to anyone looking for a lift this holiday season if they come to an area close to you not yet sold out. It was an amazing overall sensory experience. I cried, I rocked, I was in awe.

1. Saw them last night in Hartford!

It was an amazing show! I definitely left with a headache, but it was well worth it. Super-neat lighting effects, a couple of really cool pro-peace, anti-war messages, liberal messages about helping people year-round, etc. Hysterical bits, as well. Just cool. I would definitely go see them again!

2. Did the guy that sang the bluesy/jazzy songs

just amaze you or what!?

From my understanding he replaced their lost band member Daryl, poor band having to tour after dealing with such a tough blow.

That man just blew my Mom and I away, he brought tears to my eyes more than once, but then again I am a sap!
