I bought a string of lights for my tree. The lights do 16 different
things! They remain steadily lit, they fade in and out, they blink, chase each other, alternate colors, etc! I paid $7.99 for them at Big Lots, and they are just enough to cover my tree! They have an operations control panel, which unfortunately is not remote controlled.

So I am amusing myself by drinking wine and occasionally getting up to fiddle with the control panel and see what else they can do. What the hell will they think of next?

1. I like white lights, but I've got a youngun. :(
I think I'll be getting what you got. I do get a kick out of the fading and the chasing.

How big is your tree?

4. About 40 feet long, I think the box said.
I have a six foot fake tree, and it just covers the tree.

I'm enjoying them!

On edit - I'm considering going to Big Lots tomorrow for another string. The ones I have are just enough to cover the tree - another string would make it really incredible!

9. Theu're called "Bubble lights", i got some at target about 5 years ago
and now and then i find them at different stores, Usually 7 to a strand. They light up and then they bubble, they look kind of retro.
