Everyday I see posts attacking candidates from 04 as if that wasn't over. Am I the only one who doesn't hate any of them? :)

Mrs. McLargehuge is doing fine, surprisingly so for being this far along. It's a whole different pregnancy this time, she's been home for the whole thing, has had a much better diet than when she was carrying Ian, so she's still slender everywhere except the belly, nd much happier for it.

Ian is excited. So excited he swallowed a penny today and spent the better part of the morning and afternoon at the hospital being X-Rayed.

I don't hate any of them, either. I see it as repressed bitterness from the primaries. Which I don't really understand. My original choice wasn't the candidate, but I got over it.

The way I see it, we're all on the same side. Except Zell Miller.

4. I don't hate them

I just hate phony people who claim to be "christian" and full of "good morals" and then go wag their finger in your face because their candidate won. Congratulations, your (insert choice of mean name here) candidate won. Get over it. Stop gloating.

6. I liked all of the candidates. All had their strong points, but I liked

some more than others. I think many others feel like this too. I can't say I like that attacks, but if people want to vent then let them. Better here at DU than getting pissed off at work or at home.

i stay away from gd now, i think it will get better in a few months. It's been a really tough 4 years for everybody, in time we'll pull it all together.

15. it's just sour grapes for a lot of people...

i suppose it's only human, but i think it's awfully self destructive on our part, and i can't wait until this phase passes. unfortunatly for a lot of people, i suspect, it either won't pass until after closure on the vote count (i.e. after inauguration of SOMEBODY in january), or until victory in '08 (God willing).

our pride has been smashed (or at least VERY badly bruised) and people want someone to blame. we all knew what kind of candidate kerry was, and we shouldn't blame him. he ran on principles and tried to follow advice coming from all directions as best he could. i for one am proud that i supported him and i still do. he's earned the benefit of the doubt and it's just gonna be hell waiting this next two months out. i'm sure the case is the same for the vast majority of dems who lost election this time around. it's hard fighting a team that has few scruples and no conscience...
