Early on in my love life, I tended to fall for girls who needed more of a father figure than a partner, inevitably I would learn this and then end up doing the dumping. It's not fun.

but I think a couple of times the dumpee might have been relieved to have been dumped. I sometimes think men would rather chew off an arm than have to actually go through the "break up talk" with a woman.

I have been dumped by two women, both of whom I cared for deeply. I probably dumped 15 or so women, but I never thought of those relationships as "serious" so I normally would not count them.

Hard to say...I'm a serial monogamist, and I've had a short life...

Basically, I was dropped hard by my first....then I broke up "officially" with my second, but still loved her, but she eventually moved on....then the third cheated on me and I was PISSED (I still hate her) and dumped her over and over, but she, again, is the one that actually moved on before I did.

This relationship I'm in now has been going on for a good couple of years or so, and is still going strong.
