1. I Picked "Dirt/Mud"...
...because you didn't have a selection for light brown. And that's what color my Chevy S10 is.

But mine's better than a repug truck because I haven't washed it in 5 years. Three more payments and all that dirt's mine...

6. The color bars for the selections are tricky
say milk, milk, milk

Now, What do cows drink?

Water!

11. I Read Something Similar In Scientific American...
there was an experiment of some sort that required people to read out loud a printed list of color names.

When the color names were printed in black ink, the participants had no trouble reading them.

But when the color names were printed in a color OTHER than what the text read, the participants would eventually "read" out loud the ink color, instead of what the text actually was.

14. Soundwave Blue...
...for anyone who gets that reference. ;) And my dream is to have it painted some day with a "starfield" effect ... stars and galaxies and nebulae against that deep blue background.

One of the things I find disproportionately depressing, are boring, ugly, neutral colors on cars. You couldn't give me a beige/putty/gray/brown/white vehicle. Well, you could ... but it would be on Ebay in about 5 minutes. Hey, and then I could pay for that starfield paint job.... :)

18. Of course my bicycles are a different story...
I have one unpainted steel (one of these years, when I am sure I am done making frame changes...) One unpainted aluminum (didn't build that one, came that way, since it is rectangular sections, I want to paint it faux marble, for the cognitive dissonance it would induce) One is retroreflective sign paint over nickel plating (my commuting special), and one is painted a dark blue fade, with bright yellow seats. Oh yea, the junker that I use to teach emergency techniques, is mostly blue with some silver spray paint spatter. (the frame, and all but the tires came from "curb depot")

35. Cig burns on the SEATS! And the remainder of a chocolate
muffin ground into the carpet approximately 6 months ago.

I don't know why, but my house is spotless and my car is disgusting. I rarely drive, so maybe that's it.

When we walked into the dealership, we were asked what kind of car we were looking for. I said 'red.'

But our older car is 'midnight blue.'

33. Black paint, with thick coat of dust and mud splatterings around the tires
the mud from when I was trying to do a three point turn in the small 'hamlet' of Bumfuck and almost flipped my car over on a hillside.

There is an interesting collection of knicknacks, including a shovel, a yellow bedsheet and an old television (really) inside it.

37. Blue. My car is blue.
It's called "Denim Blue," bu it looks nothing like denim to me. It's a metallic light-medium-ish blue. It's a nice blue. Not my favorite blue, but it will do.

(BTW, it's a 2003 Toyota Sienna if anyone is REALLY interested in looking up the color.)
