5. 45 million slaughtered turkeys
Just for thanksgiving. I appreciate the sentiment behind it. You know, giving thanks for what you're fortunate enough to have, etc.

6. I have to say that it is one of my least favorite holidays
You spend two days preparing a meal that takes one or two hours to eat and that is full of all the things that no one that you love should be eating and then another two hours cleaning up the dishes. It costs a fortune and then you have to eat the same thing over and over and over and over and over !!!!!! OR

you can go out and rest!

7. I *hate* thanksgiving
I am a really picky eater, I don't even like turkey. Then I have to go eat at my girlfriend's house and her parents hate me so it's a few uncomfortable hours over there. Yup I hate it.
