Better Actress,Sarah Bernhardt or Eleonora Duse?

Variety reports that Steven Spielberg has purchased the rights to "The Rivals," a drama about the catfight between 19th century stage stars Sarah Bernhardt and Eleonora Duse. Spielberg bought the rights for future DreamWorks distribution, as well as a potential project for him to direct in the future.

The film will tell the story of Bernhardt and Duse, who were rivals on stage for the same roles. Their battle on stage soon also carried on into their personal lives.

It's so difficult to keep up with all these young actors these days. I'm familiar with Sandra Bernhardt -- she was one of Madonna's girlfriends -- but who is Eleanora Duse? Is she the title character on Joan of Arcadia ... ?
