Speaking as a man who got accused of that, and got my daughter to testify (in private) that it was untrue, then took over my divorce case and HAMMERED THE FUCKING ASSHOLES WHO RECKLESSLY MADE THE CHARGE and nailed the lawyer who allowed that charge to be made, and got her entire fee refunded to me for her incompetent injury of my daughter, I am so sick of this shit.

Every false accusation means the real ones get off more easily. And the very idea that only 3 percent of all accusations are untrue is so moronic as to not be worth refuting. Women use that accusation as the nuclear option, and they do it all the time. Anyone who thinks 97 percent of accusations of child molestations in divorce court are true is a fucking piece of moron shit.

I actually read a list of suggested actions for women who are anticipating a custody battle. One section was how to establish a track record for molestation accusations and TROs (call 911 a lot, that sort of thing).

You're exactly right that it's the nuclear option. In too many cases, the first side to claim abuse wins.

Speaking as a woman who was molested at age 7 by an Uncle - I find this completely offensive. I wasn't believed FOR YEARS! I think you have to take what a child says as truth until you prove it wrong. I wasn't believed and said Uncle went on to molest way too many other girls in my family.

I can't buy that. I can buy that WAY more kids are molested by adults than is generally known. Probably in the 2-5% range--but that includes all adults, not just a given child's male genetic donor.
