piece of shit.

though, in all honesty, the old live version of cocaine has a pretty bitchin' guitar solo in it.

11. Why listen to Clapton when there are actual black bluesmen out there?
That's like picking Pat Boone over Little Richard.

14. Like Which Ones
Albert King? No, he says BB King is better than he is.

BB King? No, he says Clapton is the best blues guitarist he's ever heard.

Buddy Guy? No, he says Clapton is his favorite guitar player. (And, even if he hadn't, i've heard Buddy Guy play live, and his playing lacks emotion.)

Gatemouth Brown? No, he loves all the British white guys who resurrected electric blues, so that he and BB, and the rest, could make a great living since the mid-60's.

So, if Clapton is good enough for those guys, he's good enough for me.

Besides, Clapton has done a substantial amount of rock guitar, not just blues. So, which great black blues guitar player would i go to to hear that side of guitar? Oh, yeah. None of them. That's not what they do.

13. I celebrate his entire collection.
Yeah, I sound like Bob in "Office Space" talking about Michael Bolton - But Eric Clapton isn't Michael Bolton.
