:evilgrin: Seriously though, from what I've heard about how they kill the cats in Macau before eating them . . . I'd never, ever go to a restaurant that serves cat. What they do is absolutely barbaric.

I actually had an English professor who went to Italy, and found out the hard way that cat was on the menu there. One of my classmates asked what it tasted like, and my prof replied that it tasted like veal.

So I piped up, "Why couldn't you bring back some kitty parmigiana?" The entire class was ROTFLTAO!!

during the depression when they sold rabbit at the market, they kept a back foot on the carcass so that you knew it wasn't a cat.

And domestic rabbit is all white meat that tastes somewhere between chicken and turkey.

A friend of mine lives in Macau now and told me all about how he went to a restaurant and saw them cooking a cat. He's not adventurous enough to try it.

It is probably better for you than beef or pork. Not so many anti-biotics and steroids.

I used to raise thumper for food. Higher in protein than chicken or turkey, lower in cholesterol - and very very yummy.

it was terrible. I suppose the organ meat could be ok, but organ meat on a whole is gross. (Except lengua. That rocks. Then again, the tounge is not an organ but a muscle. Yes, I am rambling.)
