...Michael Caine played Alfie...both are in every other movie made for certain stretches of time...coincidence? I think not.

4. I think actors/actresses, when they are "hot", unless they are obsessed
with the need to be in "prestige" movies, try to act in as many things as they can because their whole career can be over in a few years. Especially the women.

Even though I really hate it when my heroes appear in crap movies, I can't blame them too much.

Anyone who acts a ton, has been in a great many crap as well as good movies. Michael Caine, Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall... Mostly these guys are great in whatever movie they are in, it's just that the movie is crap sometimes.

I never understood why he didn't become a major star after The Talented Mr. Ripley--when his character left the movie, the entire film spiraled into a suckarama.

So I'm very happy to see him everywhere. He really is quite a talented actor, in addition to being unbearably good looking.

7. I watched Alfie this weekend...
and I have to admit I actually liked it... or maybe I am just a sucker for the British accent.. :)
