Fred Dryer Appreciation Thread...the HUNTER marathon on TVLand is
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 01:08 AM by Gloria
reminding me of what a FINE speciman he was in his prime...

I only watched a year or so of the series before it went off and I just found out that Dee Dee and Hunter HAD slept together!!!!! I always suspected, but to have it finally confirmed...It's only been about 15 years, but it certainly has made my night!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

In the episode in which this was revealed, I noticed that the shrink they were talking to was the same guy who played the shrink in MASH!

1. He is easy on the eyes but, honestly, I'd have to...
...mute the TV to watch him because some of the dialogue in that show was so dumb.

2. I hate cop shows, but he made me break with tradition.....
VERY easy on the eyes!!!! Has always intrigued me...his very broad shoulders, very slim hips, and very long legs. Nothing else like it on TV....ever.

i also highly recommend the dryer segment on the "lost treasures of nfl films"...he was a very open-minded, playful free spirit as a player

4. Yeah baby... I spent many evenings drooling over Fred...
Dee Dee was also a pleasure to watch. A very beautiful woman. Though I didn't drool over her.

5. I just watched my first Hunter in maybe 10 years
A bonus after swearing off CNN and MSNBC for the near future. Scrounging around and I found Fred. The last Hunter I saw, they were searching for the Black Dahlia murderer, 40 or 50 years later.

Dee Dee is more beautiful than I remembered. Didn't she quit to become a singer? I'm also getting some vague memory she resurfaced on Baywatch near the end.

6. Fred Dryer was a better football player than actor.
As a defensive tackle, he outscored the Green Bay Packers, 4-3. (Two safeties in one game, a never equaled record!) The Rams cut him as part of thier 'let's get out of our contract and move out of Anahiem' plan.
