the truest statement I have read in a long time. Mine are saving my sanity and my soul. How can you want to strangle someone when you have the waggies and licks going on. There are certain things in this life that just make keeping on worthwhile and doggies are one of those things. CL  for you, Paddy and your doggies.

On edit that is one of the funniest pictures I have seen in a while. good one, is that Brody?

If you haven't noticed I am a very nosy person. He looks like he gives you big wet puppy kisses and he looks like he sits next to you and helps you eat your meals. :)

I miss having a dog but I can't get one until I am out of College.

I was on a call last winter about a dog that had been hit by a car. His mother had been hit and killed, and I found him and his sister in the ditch, near her body. My buddy took his sister, and I took him. I'm guessing they were MAYBE 5 weeks old, just barely weened. Since Day 1, I've been 'dad', although he still loves Paddy, too.

Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 09:15 PM by smbolisnch
I don't know about everywhere else, but around here, you don't see many white boxers. I wouldn't call them rare, but he is for the area :) I know that many breeders drown the white puppies when they are born. They can't be shown or bred (as if we need more breeding going on) and breeders supposedly fear that if buyers know there are white puppies in the litter it will tarnish the rest of them. Isn't that horrible?? Grrrrrrrr  Boo came from Boxer rescue, and he is the best dog.....everyone just loves him! I can't blame them.

Boxers are awesome. And *I* was unaware there were white ones.

You didn't crop his ears (thankfully) so I didn't see the typical boxer head on him.

I adore boxers. If I decide to get Tucker a playmate, it may well be a boxer.

I have worked for vets and seen it done so many times. It really is very brutal. :( And I think his floppy ears are his sweetest, softest part! Boxers just rock. I have had them since I was a kid, and I don't know if I could ever live without one!!

43. you don't even need the image brackets..
just post the URL

the trick people don't get is how to get the URL for a pic:

First, the pic must be on the web somewhere. Photobucket and other sites will host them for free. Then, right-click on the photo and choose "Properties". A url will be shown - highlight it, copy it, then just paste it into your post.

a company has just, believe it or not, created a non-allergenic cat. Also, there are hairless breeds that don't provoke allergies.

As for dogs, a few breeds, including poodles, are generally non-allergenic for people with dander allergies.

There ARE animals out there for the allergy-ridden. Good luck.
