I don't think even asshole thinks this will succeed. He's just doing it to make his base happy.

He needs 2/3 of Congress and 2/3 of the states. We couldn't even get an Equal Rights Amendment for women.

I'm not saying we should be complacent about this. But I don't think we should be depressed, either. It's a huge, uphill battle for them, and I'm convinced they'll never win it.
