...survive another four years of Bush. Franken is sounding more and more at the end of his rope with that guy.

When the show had Mark's family on before the election, it was ugly. The animosity from Mark's sibling was palpable.

I know that Luther's family is liberal. He must be reveling in his "black sheep" status or something.

10. Good Lord! What did the asshole say?
I wouldn't have trusted him to speak at my ceremony.

11. Al and the sister said it was a beautiful speech
mark strikes me as a contrary. if his family was conservative, he would be liberal.

4. Typical right wing moral hypocrasy....
Claiming moral high ground but saying it's okay for the government to turn a deaf ear to to the cries of those suffering injustice or in dire need.

5. All the Mark Luthers in my life can only say
"What if Gore/Kerry were President?" when I point out their retarded leader's failures. No matter how much this idiot kills their country, they stand by him out of manufactured fear of the Left.

8. Did you hear him a few days ago...
...when Franken was talking to him about the PIPA study showing how ill-informed Bush supporters are? Luther tried to claim that the questions were "biased" and "leading". Franken had to point out to him that "Were WMDs found in Iraq?" is NOT a "leading" question. That guy is so slippery. In a slimey way, of course.

7. I don't know why he keeps having that fuckwit on.
Even if THEY'VE been friends since they were zygotes doesn't mean the rest of us are willing to tolerate him.

14. Lots of things would be improved by Mark's absence...
...and the absence of those like him. I don't mean for that to sound as menacing as it does. I'm not a nut. Really.:)

I pretty much agree... maybe it would be more meaningful if we said lots of things would be improved if people like that learned to empathize a little more?
