Well, Terrya, if something happened to my partner and some hospital idiot said I couldn't visit him, that person would end up in the ICU right next to him.

I don't want to have to fight this hard for my rights as an American, but for everyone who has gone before us and for everyone to come after it's important to not give up, ever.

Many people are decent. Most of those state votes went 65-35, that means that nearly four out of ten people said no. That's a lot of decent people. Don't give up hope.

6. It is really pathetic that so many Americans...

are so consumed by fear and hatred that they will vote against their own economic, health and civil liberty issues. What a bunch of saps! They vote against gay rights, stem cell research and choice and all they are going to get out of it is another tax cut for the very rich.
