Cool-- fresh bubble wrap!
I'd sure like to know what the psychological reason is that makes popping bubble wrap so fun! ('Fess up, I know you do it too!)

But, in the meantime-- *POP* *POP* *POP* .......

1. "Get lost, popper"
Whose seen that anti-smoking add that uses popping bubble wrap as a spoof to smoking?

2. Get a life.
I did. I went to college, then medical school, then I did my internship, residency, and fellowship.

Now I get to pop the biggest zits.

I'm waiting for two books.

Now I'll have to go downtown and ride around looking for people selling bubble wrap on the corner.

Gotta have it.

4. I DO have a life
I own my own home business, and I both have clients here, and I go out to their homes and places of business. I meet new people daily. It's quite a bit of fun, thank you very much!

*POP* *POP* *POP*

It changes nothing!

6. Imagine 350 kids popping bubble wrap simultaneously...
Where I teach, every teacher has to give two chapels a year about morals, integrity, that sort of thing. Last year, one of mine fell around the anniversary of the creation of bubble wrap. So, I decided to give my chapel about appreciating the "little things" in life. I had all of my advisees (each teacher has six or seven students he or she advises) share a selection of little things in life they appreciate that people might not normally think about. I finished with my list, ending with popping bubble wrap. I then handed out a small square of bubble wrap to every kid and teacher (and parent...we actually get audiences for these things), and we all popped them at the same time. It was really cool.

On a side note, everybody should purchase the book "14,000 Things To Be Happy About". It changed my life. Well, not really, but it's one of those books that creates an "Oh my god...that's RIGHT!" response every time you open it.

8. Thank you!
I haven't laughed quite that hard in some time. I guess sometimes it's the silly little things that make it all worthwhile!

9. I know what you mean...
It's irresistible!:D

I once worked in a store and had contests with the guy I worked with to see who could pop more bubbles at once!:-)

And then there's Martin Crane's famous line from Frasier of how much Eddie (his dog) enjoys it! ``Pop! Pop!... Pop Pop Pop Pop!!!'' LOL!:7
