4. Alice's Restaurant should only be played on Thanksgiving Day...
I think WBAI in New York only played it on Thanksgiving Day for years.

24. Can't wait that long,
so I will reverently play it while taking out about a half a ton of garbage from Al's (soon to be John's) house.

7. I myself will be listening to NWA, Skynyrd, STP, Jane's Addiction...
George Clinton, and James Taylor. But only because I'll be playing GTA: SA.

If you're talking songs for the election, I'm thinking "Don't Come Around Here No More" by Tom Petty.

8. I personally will have The Ode To Joy ready.
Beethoven's Ninth.

In the UK, it will be just past 5am, and I will be exhausted after liveblogging throughout. Nothing lifts the spirits like the Ode to Joy, and I feel its lyrics are very apt:

Thy magic reunites those
Whom stern custom has parted;
All men will become brothers
Under thy gentle wing.

And:

Thy magic reunites those
Whom stern custom has parted;
All men will become brothers
Under thy gentle wing.

And:

Be embraced, Millions!
This kiss for all the world!
Brothers!, above the starry canopy
A loving father must dwell.

Oh, yes.

11. I loved that song
until someone pointed out that "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss." are in the lyrics. Still, it's a kick ass song.

I'll probably go with Jefferson Airplane's "Volunteers."
