I can't believe I actually enjoyed Terminator 3. (spoiler?)
Especially the non-Hollywood ending. The actors weren't all that good and Arnie's a little long in the tooth (not to mention, his catch phrases are pretty lame this time), but the story was actually pretty good. And I'm a firm believer in story.

Actually, it's the same in music. You can have all the production in the world, but unless you've got a fundamentally good song, it won't go anywhere.

1. You should read the sequel books then......
....T2 Infiltrator and T2 Rising Storm by S.M. Sterling....both are good reads....I figured the movie couldn't be as good since Sarah and John aren't in it but I enjoyed these books a lot...and figured they'd do a decent enough job with the movie seeing the plots of these books were strong....glad ya liked it tho....I want to see it too! :)

5. John is in it.
He's just played by another actor...and a thankfully less whiny one at that.

2. Yeah...
...I enjoyed it as well. It was entertaining, and the "non-Hollywood" ending was actually pretty on track for the times. I've noticed several movies taking a less "happily ever after" tact to their climaxes lately.

3. Don't feel bad. It was actually a decent film.
A more Hollywood-type ending would have been stupid and completely inappropriate in the context of all that has gone before. And Arnold was not just living off his popularity in this film, but actually seemed to be trying to act again.

The fight scene in the rest room was too much, and I mean that in a good way. One of the greatest duke-it-out scenes of all time.

I very much look forward to Terminator 4!

4. Yeah, that was a hoot!
I liked the fact that Ahnold didn't even show up for the first forty-five minutes. They actually let the story develop.

The money shot chase scene with the crane was in the first 30 minutes.

10. Well, maybe I was being a tad hyperbolic.
But he certainly wasn't in the first fifteen. :)

6. This movie certainly exceeded my expectations . . .
One of the best pure action movies in a long time.

7. It'll be in the top five for a while, due to word of mouth.
The Hollywood execs don't understand that word-of-mouth is still one of the most powerful marketing tools. That's why a lot of this summer's 'blockbusters' have dropped off so sharply after their initial release (Hulk, Charlie's Angels, etc.). I predict, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen will meet the same fate. Again, it's story, story, story!

9. I HOPE LXG bombs
Sean Connery should call it a day, he's done, kaput, all over. Nobody wants to hear his stupid scottish (accent on the sh) accent any more.

Stupid storyline too, comic book season is equally over.
