I just finished proctoring an exam.

Boy these undergrads are stupid. I mean that's no news. I've seen plenty take 15 minutes to finish a 2 hour exam and turn it in with nearly every answer wrong. But until today I have never, ever seen somebody sit there and stare at an exam for an hour and a half and then turn it in with the only thing that was filled out was his name. I mean you'd realize a quarter of the questions were multiple choice if you only read the instructions.

I blame Bush supporters.

5. I've seen pretty dumb things too, but playing games on cell phones

during class or a music concert (class requirement) makes me go postal. Not only have I threatened to destroy the offending object but I have also promised to instantly fail the student.
