i have a friend who swears by Gentle Leader®. I makes the dogs much more manageable and if you want to use a regular collar, they often behave better after time on the Gentle Leader.

And what more proof do you need than the picture above. It would appear that Gentle Leader® not only makes a more well-behaved best friend, but a politically astute one as well! :7
