Hello. I go to a very, very, very right-wing middle school, which I think is odd because we live in a rather democratic state. But anyhoo, this guy, Joe (Not his real name. But just use your imagination, people.), has been arguing with me over the past week or so about politics. It's amusing sometimes, he uses his rally cry: George Bush! 'W' is for 'Win'! I use: A W O L SERVED IN A BAR!

But today, it got ugly.

So, as I walked from math to science, he corned me in the hall. After yelling absurd things in my face and causing people to stare, one of my good friends came over a got him off me.

I walked into science, thanking whoever is up there that I was away from him. As I sat down, I realized something.

He sits RIGHT NEXT TO ME.

So, as our science teacher (who is very awesome) talked on about frogs and fish, Joe wrote a note to me.

It said, and hold onto your seats: Kerry is a killer. He shot a man in the back of the head.

I calmly read the note, crossed out 'He shot a man in the back of the head.' I also crossed out the killer part. I wrote 'He served honorably in Vietnam.' then, looking absently at the flag, 'For two terms.'

Then, searching my mind, I wrote: Bush has the highest execution rate as a Texas Governor of all time. Who's the killer now?

Joe read the words I had written. He then returned:

Kerry smoked marijuana .

I read this, snorted inwardly, and wrote:

Bush did coke. By the way, did you know that his wife is a chain smoker? And Bush got arrested for drunk driving?

Then, he scribbled:

SO?

I read then wrote:

So?

He ripped off a new sheet of paper and wrote to me:

GOOO GEORGE BUSH!!!

I returned:

John Kerry saved a mans life. During a battle, a man fell off his boat and Kerry, while people were shooting at him went back and got him.

He then wrote:

10 out of 10 terrists vote Bush out of office because he's the man for the job, unlike KARRY!

I then gave him the bomb. No one can come back from this.

Who's this Karry? Anyways... Why did George Bush not go to a single ONE of his anti-terrorism meetings before sept. 11, when his intelligence was practically screaming at him that America was in danger?

Then, at the bottom, I wrote the words that haunt many:

Osama bin Laden is of no threat to America- George W. Bush.

He did not answer me after that. I silently ticked off my mental tally of battles won with many facts.

As I walked out of class, saying naught a word, I gave my John Kerry button a little pat and smiled.

Seriously though, good job. Of course, the little fucker is doomed to torture animals on his way to becoming a kidnapper/murderer/necrophiliac/cannibal. But that's several months off yet.

I haven't met a single Bush voter who can give factual information about why they like him or why they dislike Kerry. Most of the time it seems like they are just rooting for a team without putting any real thought into it.
