Is it cloudy or raining where you are right now?
I just looked at the weather for North America, and it looks like the entire continent is under somewhat of a cloud cover.

40. You Californian, you
Gotta have your endless sunshine, ey :)

Don't worry, it'll get nice again soon. But maybe you could stand out in the warm rain for a few minutes ... it might make you feel good.

24. THANK YOU for asking that question...
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 03:08 PM by jchild
We are only polling nine points behind Bush, and that poll was taken BEFORE the debates. The pigboy gov, Haley Barbour, has booted 65,000 people off of medicaid...and many state elections here are decided by much fewer than 65T votes.

I don't think you are crazy for asking. Mississippi Dems are doing tremendous GOTV work. I am on the executive committee of my county...I personally have given out over 100 signs.

In previous prez elections, no one seemed to care...it was just assumed that we would go red. This election season, I am seeing 2:1 more signs for Kerry than Bush.

Dems are fired up. Even if we don't win, it will be close, and the Repubs will no longer assume that this state is a given for them.

Thanks for asking that. I have intimated that we just might go blue and shock everyone, and have been ridiculed for saying that.

We shall see...but I would be money that the split will be around 45% to 50% one way or the other.

33. We've always been the majority--in state and local elections...
until recently. We still have a majority Dem legislature. Had a Dem governor until the Repubs pulled out the stops to get Barbour elected.

National elections are a different story. I think it's going to be a lot closer than people anticipate, though. People are voting who have never voted before.
