I'm personally opposed. My sister and just got into a big argument about this on the phone.

They don't even call it Halloween - it's "begger's night". They have not held it on 10/31 since I've lived there.

Why would you be opposed to trick-or-treating on Sunday?

My sister, who has become a born-again Christian lately, is opposed to having it on Sunday because she says it might be offensive to Christians.

I say if they're that offended by Halloween, they shouldn't celebrate it regardless of what day it's on.
