Why do they always promote...a long rant and rave

jackasses who hate their job and half the people they work with?
The boss at work just promoted this "kid" who spent most of five years insulting me, juvenile name calling, and some vicious comments
Like , when I was talking about my eye condition said he could care less about my "affliction". Oh, he's a psychology graduate
For years he denegraded the job, the company, and his co-workers.
so I told the boss she was entitled to promote who she wants but I considered a slap in my face that someone who acted the way he does got promoted. She said she promotes based on "talent" and never seen any of the comments I mentioned. Could be she was hurt for a year and wasn't on the job.
I am thoroughly disgusted, and I hope it comes back to bite the whole damn place.
