William Shatner/Ben Folds/Joe Jackson's "Common People" - BRILLIANT!

I've always been a huge Joe Jackson fan, and Shatner's always amused me. I've become more aware of Ben Folds' genius recently. When I heard the tune they did together on Shatner's new album, I was floored. What an amazing tune! Sounds like classic new wave Joe Jackson.

1. I hope people know it was a tune by the band Pulp....

It's a great tune by a British band called Pulp, put out in the early to mid 90's I think. The original is a great song. And from articles/interviews/reviews I've read, it doesn't get mentioned enough and almost seems like people are trying to pass it off as Shatner's song. Hopefully people don't only think the song is some kind of campy Shatner tune.

I never thought it was a campy Shatner tune. I thought it was some sort of Ben Folds/Joe Jackson collaboration. Nicely done, Pulp!
