Hi everyone, I am a freshman at the University of Denver, planning on running for Freshman Senator in the next few weeks. My name doesn't rhyme with anything (I don't think), so I am reaching out to my DU friends to help with a slogan/motto.

Name: Travis Leiteritz (pronouced Lighter Ritz, like a lighter and a ritz cracker)
School: University of Denver Pioneers

3. How does this sound for a flyer:

Let’s make the most out of our time at DU! Elect ME, and as your Freshman Senator, here is what you can expect:

To Go Boxes in the Dining Halls—You paid for the food, you should be able to eat it wherever you like.
Reduce the Cost of Intramurals— We work hard, but we also want to play hard. Let’s not have to PAY to PLAY.
More extracurricular events

4. Okay, for the sake of a good brainstorming session...

how about something a little subversive and creative?

Day 1) Create a good quality poster (color copier would do) with 2 images, similar to these:





but place them side by side (like your name reads...). Below images place text "FOR FRESHMAN SENATOR" or Vote September ?, etc. Just leave your name off of the poster.

Day 2) Let it rest.

Day 3) Get blank white shipping labels (about as big as a post card) and print "Leiteritz" on them with a laserjet (or something). Place the "Leiteritz" stickers below the 'zippo lighter' on the posters that you put up 2 days ago.

Day 4) Attached your campaign 'message' to the poster (details, how to reach you, etc)

Point is Travis, create a buzz, a sensation, it's college! Now that the ridiculous has been suggested feel free to run with whatever ideas come to you. Good luck and have fun with it! :D
