12. Up here in the nawtheast o'La....it last snowed and stuck in 2000-01....

.....New Years Eve in fact...it stayed around for like a week afterwards too...was a treat that year especially with all that was goin' on.... :(

At 7000 feet... and a major ski resort is located in the mountains outside of town.

It usually doesn't start until late November or December, and on through March or April.
