That amounts to 'little (Mr. Nownow)' -- he calls me (Nownow)-san, in e-mails. I don't remember when this started, but it was long before we got married, I remember that much. It's mostly written, though. We call each other by our first names, the rest of the time, unless we're being sarcastic and kidding around. I sometimes pull out the old Sam Kinison voice and say 'sure, Honey, whatever you say ...' when he says something really bizarre.

We actually know several other couples who also call each other "Maynard" and it gets pretty confusing when we all get together!
