Has anyone else here rented Fahrenheit 911 before Tuesday????

Last Friday a friend visited a local Mom-and-Pop video store to rent a movie. She was looking around and ended up in the "F" section.

Lo and behold...Fahrenheit 911 was already available for rental. And she grabbed it.

We theorize that the stores get them in advance and usually hold them until the official release date. At least the chain stores.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

My friend was tickled, since she had not seen it.

Michael Moore would have any problem with it being rented out ASAP.

The release date issue (for him) is about allowing the distribution channel to get enough copies to release.
