7. I always liked the old"Outer Limits" and "The Twilight Zone"
If you get past all the hokiness of early TV sets technology-they presented good stories with some pretty profound (for TV) themes.
They made allegorical allusions to political and moral issues that actually made people think.

11. Voyagers
Remember the one with the Voyager Phinneas Bogg who had to travel through time making sure history didn't get fucked up? He lost his manual so took along a kid who was a whiz at history. Great show.
