I know, I know. We've neglected to open the Grotto the last couple of nights. BUT. We're back and bad as ever.


And just because I've been a bad hostess while short bus has been gone - cover waived fro everyone. You don't even have to work for it. ;-)

I crashed early last night. We did a little birthday thing for my niece and the pizza and cake didn't sit together in my tummy very well.

The bad news is I was up all night being sick. No donuts for me this morning. Just a little glass of OJ and some toast please.

The good news is I'm home from work. No worrying about the boss or the IT guys reading what I'm doing on DU. ;-)

anymore...just really really tired. Didn't get any sleep last night. But I'll take all the snuggles I can get this morning.

My boss did not sound happy when I called in this morning. Stupid boss. I know every second I sit here I'm getting more behind at work but I'm hard pressed to care at the moment.

I'm just gonna sit here wrapped up in a blankie and and cuddle with my teddy bear (and you :-)) and blink stupidly at the world and eat my toast and not care.

we'll have to abandon the outdoor hot spring but the one inside the cave should be fine as long as we keep a fire going and the entrance closed up to keep the warm air in. And we might have to huddle together for warmth. Oh darn. ;-)

Worst comes to worst we can always move things to the Dungeon next door. The heavy scary steel door should keep the cold air out quite nicely. Might scare the teenagers though. (Is this a good thing or a bad thing? ;-)) I suppose I'll have to talk it over with short bus - it's his Grotto after all. Although I doubt, given his one-track mind, that he's sufficiently planned ahead for winter.

It's all too much to think about on a tired Tuesday morning. *snuggles back down and turns the brain back off.

with the most boring man on earth. Got dumped back in Feb 2002 and it was the BEST THING that ever happened to me. It's a very long story but suffice it to say that I am much more myself now than I was for all those years when I was trying to live a quiet little life and avoid pain (by avoiding feeling anything). I have a lot of lost years to make up for now. ;-)

I'm less scared of a raid than I am of Leftist Rebel's momma coming back. *shudder*

I suppose you could be right about the boring-thing being subjective. There's always the possibility that he was being what he thought I wanted at the time. On days when I'm feeling magnanimous about it I hope he has gotten out and started experiencing more of life. On days when I am NOT magnanimous about it I hope he's miserable. :-) Most days I just don't think about him at all.

If I was an evil bitch I'd go into excruciating detail about the lack of good lovin' and that boys sad inability to experience his own body. *shakes head ruefully* But short bus tells me that it isn't polite to kiss and tell. Stupid manners. *pout* ;-)

Actually, I'm not the biggest fan of jelly donuts. I do like the new ones at Krispy Kreme that are caramel-filled though.
