Why is Laura Bush referred to as "Pickles"?

Since Bush* is too dumb to remember names, he gives everyone a nickname based on some physical or work-related characteristic. Using the same "logic" Bartcop started calling Laura "Pickles" during the campaign, and it's been picked up here.

So, do you want to know why Bartcop calls Paul Harvey a "Horse Molester"?

After Laura ran over her ex-boyfriend 'accidently' as a young 17 year old in a car accident and killed him, they called her pickles because she was mimicking being pregnant in her library job all day and eating weird things with pickles and panut butter and bread and the such (perhaps doing strange things with pickles as well).

Who ever did it, I now think of her when it is said.I do not know why but I find Bush and the whole family dull as hell. I almost fell over with the ads on Bush father being put on TV. He is a nut job with out his writers also. How did this second rate family and thinkers ever rise to the top of the heap?

First lady Laura Bush's background in education helped her treat some Topeka students Wednesday to a lesson in reading they won't soon forget.

Mrs. Bush read "Picky Mrs. Pickle," a children's book by author and illustrator Christine Schneider, to Randolph Elementary School teacher Sarah Greiner's third-grade class after the dedication of the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library's youth services area.
