fairly easy to root against the evil empire

i loved thurman munson and willie randolph and lou piniella and some of the other 70s yankees. so im not someone who hates all things yankee

i root for those who really scrap and fight and deserve their place on the team, thus the red sox are my team for the long haul. the yankees just seem to be pieced together until i no longer recognize them.

in other words, ill take varitek any day over rodriguez. on or off the field.

sorry. i really dont mean it that harshly but sometimes its hard to not see the yankees as an extension of bush for some reason, and thats not really fair.

i have to give it up to the yankee fans; they gave cheney an awesome bronx cheer

Not only did he contribute 2,000 dollars to Bush, he made all of these demands from the Mets when he was a free agent. Like he wanted it written that he would have his own booths at Shea stadium selling A Rod merchandise and that he had to have the biggest billboard in New York.
