A call for prayers and well-wishes

It's been my privilege and pleasure to offer computer support for a local man who happens to have terminal cancer. He has a few months left. In his remaining time he's been writing a book-- he's collected jokes and short stories and a variety of Reader's Digest-style snippets for many years, and he decided to compile them into a book. The book is almost complete, with the help of a fine network of friends. I'm pleased to have been helpful in the book's progress.

He also happens to be a Navy veteran and an ex-POW ('Nam era). He was a civilian consultant at the time he was captured, and he spent six years in captivity.

He ALSO happens to be a long-haul trucker. He was on the road this week (he had his border collie with him for company), when he flipped his rig. He's now in the hospital with various injuries and broken bones. I don't know yet if the dog was injured.

Please feel free to cast a prayer or a kind thought to the winds in his name. It would be much appreciated. He doesn't have much time left, and it would be a shame to end it crippled, along with all his other pain.

His name is Ted Brederhoft.
