Question for Graphic (s) People
I've got a disk that has an "Encapsulated Postscript" file:

EE_Logo_L_N_M.Eps

Fine..I can open and view the Logo in Photoshop or Illustrator ...No problem.

Also on the disk is the other parts of the logo (???) it looks like this:

EE_Labels_Popular_green (no extension ...just says "file" )

It won't open no matter what I do.

Teach Me What's going on :)

1. Try renaming it to EF_Labels_Popular_green.eps
They might just have left the extension off.

3. On a PC, Photoshop has an extra File > Open as... option
use Open as... option and try to open the file as: and go through the various available file types... PDF, jpg, ai, tiff, gif, png, etc

Maybe one will work.

The other thing I've done is make a copy of the file and open it in Notepad (which may take a lo-o-o-ong time, if it opens at all) and then carefully look through the header for any mention of what app was used to create the file. (Hint - eps files are generally pretty small, if they were created by someone who *knows* what they're doing).

Good luck,
Tut-tut
