A bush supporter cut me off on the freeway yesterday

He obviously saw my Kerry sign in my back window.. funny thing is he was on a lower end motorcycle and went around me into the carpool lane then cut right in front of me so I could see his Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on the back of his helmet. He then pulled back into the carpool lane and took off.

Now.. how stupid are you to cut someone off who is going 65 mph, get about 15 feet in front of them - then hit the brakes when you're on a motorcycle?

Folks.. this is the mentality of the people voting for that moran.

btw: I didn't hit my brakes when he cut me off.. to hell with him!

The other day I had two people try and yell shit at me on the 101. The traffic was bad and I was heading toward West Hollywood. They were in the far left lane and I was in the next one over.

I could tell by the look on their faces they noticed my:

1. Kerry/Edwards sticker

2. Boxer for Senate sticker

3. No W (red slash)

4. Rainbow Peace sign

5. Kerry car flag

The woman kept rolling down her window and was trying to get my attention (I had seen their * sticker). I had this great Dinah Washington/Brooke Benton CD on, so I didn't give a shit what they had to say ..... so I ignored them and was groovin to the tunes.

They finally gave up and drove off.

I have Kerry sticker on my car and was chased all the way from a freeway exit to a store (no way was i going home). The car had a GOP stickler on it, and was driven by a youngish man. At the time, I was shaking, i was so frightened, but now I wish i had just pulled over and engaged him in a debate, I am sure i could have taken him to the woodshed. Friends and family are quick to point out to me that would probability have been a bad idea, no telling with these guys.

I've been liberal for a long time, and had pulled myself from the ranks of the outspoken because I didn't see there what appealed to me from the beginning. I'm older, with kids, and have of late been disappointed with myself for my lack of involvement. I am involved here in Tennessee in trying to make us once again a blue state, but in limited capacity.

I get cut off practically everyday. I see idiots driving stupidly all the time. Do I think they "deserve" to be hurt? No. If he did, it would be his own fault, but to deserve it is another thing entirely.
