I have been doing it for years and it's great.

It's not bic-ed. I cut it myself with a pair of electric clippers. I just don't use any extensions, but it gets down real close.

If you go in at 4 in the morning on a regular basis, have the barber put on a number-two guard and buzz you. You'll need to have it rebuzzed once a week or you come out looking like a crazed Nazi, but if it's maintained it looks okay.
