Tom Petty--The Last DJ.......is that a Great Song, or what???
My local PBS station showed the debate live, now showing Tom Pettyin concert. Anyway, he led off with the title song from the album, The Last DJ..

What a great song!! All about radio, mediocrity, the loss of freedom to
"play what you want to play"....

He's so great!

1. I saw that programme.
Great stuff. I haven't heard the new album yet, though. However, I can say that the album before that, "Echo," is absolutely brilliant--his best in a long time.

3. He was actually playing the whole album straight through, from
what I gathered when he started. It's really good!
