Any POCO Fans out there?
Always loved the band and their harmonies.

Kind Woman

Got a good reason for loving you
It's an old fashion sigh
I kinda get the feelin' like mmm you know when
Fell in love the first time.

Kind woman
Won't you love me tonight
The look in your eyes
Kind woman
Don't leave me lonely tonight
Please say it's all right

Remember once before hearing the old folks say
Love's an ageless old prize
Nowadays you know the saying depends so much on
The kind of woman that you find.

1. I always liked their music - Bad Weather was one I loved...
They are giving a free benefit concert here in the St. Louis area soon. Rusty Young moved up here earlier this year and lives about 1 hour south of St. Louis.

They do still tour here and there.

2. Yes...I have all of their old stuff on vinyl, and a few selected CDs

I always thought that "A Good Feeling To Know" was their best, and I leaned toward Paul Cotton's songs because they seemed a little tougher, a little edgier, but they still had the trademark Poco harmonies. "Early Times," "Ride The Country" and "Keeper Of The Fire" are great...although there isn't a bad cut on this one (unless, of course, a person just doesn't like the band...and I've known some of those people).

I never understood why this album cover turned pink...the original was sort of a tan color.

3. Bad Weather

I Love singing and playing this on the acoustic

Bad Weather

In every day that passes us by
I can't help the feeling that you and I
We won't get to see another day together
Looks like bad weather
I can see it all there in your eyes
And it comes to me as no surprise
That you don't need me here no more
Your feelings tell the score
Words they are getting hard for me find
You take me by the hand and you're leading me blind

In every day that passes us by
I can't help the feeling that you and I
We won't get to see another day together
Looks like bad weather

Words they are getting hard for me find
You take me by the hand and you're leading me blind

In every day that passes us by
I can't help the feeling that you and I
We won't get to see another day together
Looks like bad weather
I believe it's gonna rain

4. Amazing the amount of talent that passed through that band.
And I even have a soft spot for their ABC Records tenure, when they were The Eagles with talent.

5. Absolutely one of the best concerts ever,
Poco opening for Yes in W. Palm Beach Auditorium. '73 I think. Always loved the way Jimmy Messina and Richie Furay interacted and harmonized.

7. Big Poco fan....have most of their albums
One of my favorites(don't remember the name at this time)lasts about 15 minutes and takes up the majority of one side of the album.....that was when a FM station would play an entire side of an album(or the entire album) and then have a commercial break.....that's been awhile, hasn't it.

9. That would be "Crazy Eyes." Complete with orchestra.

And it's been several lifetimes ago, hasn't it? I used to be inside your radio when that album side got played.

8. Here!
Old ex took their albums with him though. I'm such a pushover... I've lost more stuff that way.
