David Letterman said, tonight, that the "lovable" Dick Cheney presented his "warm scowl" to the crowd. I find his lack of reaction to the venom of Zell Miller to be inexplicable, considering his extreme reaction to Patrick Leahy, who committed the same offense, but in the opposite direction, and without the accompanying anger and vitriol.:shrug:

11. In his convention speech, this lying scumbag attacked John Kerry

for his voting record against defense spending. I don't have a link, but I have since learned that, if you count up the votes, Dick Cheney, in his years as a Congressman, voted against defense spending more times than John Kerry did, as Senator. Plus, this man was a draft-dodger during the Vietnam War, while John Kerry served with distinction. This is not a good issue for Bush*-Cheney and they should just drop it before it comes back and bites them.:shrug:
